Wednesday, April 13th, 2011After Internet Explorer 9 (IE 9) was released on March 14, 2011, Microsoft has kept the wheels of “innovation” turning behind the scenes… well either that or they realized that their “new” product was still inferior to all the other browsers out there. Of course the new IE was angelic and godly in comparison to its crippled and deformed ancestor IE 6. Still shamed by the mark of IE6 on the IE family tree, Microsoft is trying its hardest to actually get in front of the curve and not just slide down it by playing catch up to the the innovation of Google and Mozilla. Roll out the carpet and pop the bubbly. Enters IE 10! Okay, maybe the champagne is a bit premature, but Microsoft has released its first platform preview of the new IE. (more…)

Thursday, April 7th, 2011There are a lot of talented video production artists and directors out there and Ross Ching is clearly one of them. In Ching’s short 3 minutes, he does a great job of combining mixing sci-fi with modern life, a sort of Star Wars meets The Condemned. Very well thought out and masterfully executed, this film does for the light saber what Equilibrium does for the gun, taking the futuristic sword play past the usual into the realm of Kung Fu mixed martial arts.
